Saudi Elenex 2026 is the 27th edition of one of the Middle East's leading trade exhibitions for the electricity, energy, lighting, HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), electromechanical systems, alternative energy, and water technologies sectors.
Scheduled to take place from 16 – 19 November 2026 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this event brings together industry professionals, solution providers, manufacturers, investors, and decision-makers from across the globe to explore and showcase the latest innovations, products, and services shaping the future of energy and building technologies.
Saudi Elenex serves as a central platform for technological advancement, business networking, and market growth in sectors critical to Saudi Arabia's development and Vision 2030 objectives. It aligns with the Kingdom's broader agenda to diversify the economy, accelerate sustainable energy adoption, and modernize infrastructure.
Saudi Elenex 2026 stands out as a pivotal exhibition in the MENA region for energy solutions, smart building technologies, and electromechanical systems. By facilitating innovation exchange, business networking, and sector growth, it plays a vital role in supporting both corporate participants and national development objectives, particularly in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 growth and sustainability goals.
Saudi Arabia remains the largest economy in the Middle East and a major global economic power, supported by strong public investment, steady foreign direct investment inflows, and a stable banking and financial system. Its nominal GDP is estimated at around USD 1.27 trillion in 2025, placing it 18th globally and reaffirming its position as the wealthiest Arab nation
The Kingdom’s economic outlook continues to be resilient and forward‑looking, driven by the ambitious reforms under Vision 2030, which prioritize diversification away from oil and the development of high‑value non‑oil sectors. Recent IMF and government assessments confirm strong non‑oil GDP expansion, rising domestic consumption, robust financial indicators, and contained inflation—demonstrating the economy’s strengthening fundamentals.
Vision 2030’s impact is increasingly visible: the non‑oil sector accounted for over 55% of real GDP by 2025,marking a decisive shift toward a diversified, knowledge‑based economic structure that continues to attract global investors.Despite global uncertainty and geopolitical tensions, the economy continues to perform well, with the IMF projecting real GDP growth of 4.5% in 2026, signalling sustained momentum.
Saudi Arabia’s medium‑term momentum remains positive despite global headwinds such as softer oil prices and external geopolitical uncertainty. The government has adopted a deliberate expansionary, investment‑driven fiscal strategy, allowing for moderate deficits aimed at accelerating mega‑projects and strategic investments central to the Vision 2030 transformation. For 2026, real GDP growth is projected at 4.5%–4.6%, outperforming global averages and supported primarily by robust non‑oil economic activity.
India’s merchandised exports to Saudi Arabia expanded strongly from US$ 5.86 billion in 2020-21 to US$ 11.75 billion during 2024-25 with a CAGR of 19%. Even after the post pandemic period, India’s exports touched at US$ 10.73 billion during 2022-23 and engineering exports stood at USD 3.08 billion, reflecting robust post pandemic demand. India’s engineering exports improved at a CAGR of 35.3 from US$ 1.68 billion in 2020-21 to US$ 5.63 billion in 2024-25. Saudi Arabia ranks among the top five export destinations for India's engineering industry, standing as the second largest within the WANA region during 2024-25
The product profile of Saudi ELENEX 2026 includes Electrical Machineries & Equipments, HVAC and Renewable Energy Equipments. In the 2025-26 (Apr-Feb) period, India's exports of Electrical machinery & equipments to Saudi Arabia reached USD 4.2 billion, during April-Jan 2025-26. Saudi Arabia also emerged as India’s 3rd‑largest destination for engineering exports during this timeframe.
Saudi Arabia is one of the largest importers and consumers of electrical machinery and equipment in the Middle East. Demand in this sector has been consistently rising, driven by population growth, expanding construction activity, rapid industrialization, and the overall scaling of economic activities across the Kingdom. Alongside these structural drivers, the government’s push to diversify away from an oil‑dependent economy has encouraged significant investment in power‑intensive infrastructure and industrial projects, further strengthening the market potential for electrical machinery and equipment manufacturers in the coming years.
Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 continues to open substantial growth avenues for the electrical machinery and equipment industry, particularly through large‑scale infrastructure development, accelerated industrialization, and a strong emphasis on renewable energy. The Kingdom’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy capacity—targeting 130 GW by 2030—is expected to generate considerable demand for solar panels, wind turbines, grid‑connected systems, and other supporting electrical infrastructure. This policy direction also prioritizes localization and technological advancement, creating opportunities for both domestic and international firms to integrate into the rapidly evolving energy ecosystem.
Saudi ELENEX 2026, a leading and long‑established trade exhibition for the electricity, energy, lighting, and HVAC‑R sectors, continues to serve as a major platform for industry stakeholders. Now entering over 26 years of operation, the exhibition brings together global innovators and decision‑makers to showcase cutting‑edge technologies aligned with the Kingdom’s energy transformation goals. Participation in Saudi ELENEX 2026 will offer significant opportunities for manufacturers and distributors of electrical machinery, HVAC systems, and renewable energy equipment, enabling them to engage directly with a growing market, demonstrate technological advancements, and strengthen their presence within Saudi Arabia’s expanding industrial and energy landscape.
