Eurobike 2026 will take place from Wednesday, June 24 to Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Messe Frankfurt in Germany. The world's leading trade fair for cycling and future mobility is adopting a more compact format, focusing on sports, lifestyle, and everyday mobility. The event will feature trade visitor days followed by festival days, showcasing innovations in e-bikes, cargo bikes, and sustainable transportation. EUROBIKE is the central platform for intensive exchange and networking between the numerous players from industry, trade and media. Focus :

The 2026 edition aims to be more compact, focusing on the core bike and e-mobility market, with a shortened duration. For 2026, the event will introduce "Mobifuture" to focus on urban mobility, while Eurobike concentrates on sports, gravel, and performance e-bikes.

Germany's economy: A snapshot

Germany is Europe's largest economy and ranks 6th globally by Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), with a PPP-adjusted GDP of approximately US $6.04 trillion in 2024. Its skilled workforce, technological leadership, and proactive planning continue to underpin its strong position in the global economy. Germany has gone through a prolonged period of economic stagnation. After two years of contraction, the economy is set to broadly stagnate in 2025 and rebound with 1.2% GDP growth in 2026 and 2027. After easing to 2.5% in 2024, HICP inflation is projected to decline to 2.3% in 2025, 2.1% in 2026, and 1.9% in 2027. The positive effects of a ramp-up in public spending is partly counterbalanced by the negative impact of trade tensions, which are expected to impact exports.

Like the rest of the world, Germany also suffered economic losses during the pandemic, revival from which was mired by geo-political tensions across the globe. As per recent updates, the country is set to recover slowly in 2024 fuelled by recovery in real household income and improved consumer sentiment. The inflationary pressure is expected to ease from 6% in 2023 to around 2.4% in 2024. Recovery in investment growth is also expected in 2025. Overall real GDP growth is forecast to increase by 0.1% in 2024 from a 0.3% decline in 2023. In 2025, real GDP growth is forecast to recover moderately to 1.0% in 2025.

India and Germany's Bilateral Trade

Germany is the fifth largest destination for India's engineering exports and the largest in European Union. Engineering exports to Germany was recorded at USD 3.24 billion in 2018-19 and then, after declining in the next two fiscals due to the pandemic, it continued its rise in the next fiscals. In FY 2024-25, engineering exports to Germany increased by 2.4% while India's overall merchandised exports to Germany increased by 8%.

During 2024-25, India's exports of bicycles and bicycle parts reached USD 410.75 million in 2024–25, registering a growth of 12.7% over the previous year (USD 364.58 million). Germany accounted for 6% of these bicycle and its parts exports, valued at USD 24.59 million.

Opportunity in Germany's bicycle industry

Germany is the major hub of engineering sector in the Europe mainly due to its technological prowess, high skill level and geographical location. The European bicycle industry has witnessed significant growth in the recent years driven by improvement in cycling infrastructure, focus on sustainability and popularity of E-bikes across Europe. The industry has shifted towards E-bikes mainly due to three reasons which include its mobility, leisure and health benefits. Experts anticipate a significant increase in demand and assume that the industry will continue its upward trend in the coming years. The demand is also getting boost by the effective policies taken by European countries including the recent European Declaration on Cycling and the report on the Transition Pathway of the Mobility Industries. Therefore there is significant scope for bicycles in Europe especially the E-bikes.

    1. Other Service Charges: INR 5,000 per Sqm
    2. EEPC India reserves the right to reject an application for participation without assigning any reason.
    3. In case of not receiving a minimum number of participants, EEPC India may decide not to participate in the show.
    4. No subletting or sharing of space/ booth is permitted.

    Note:

    EEPC INDIA can only recommend for issuance of VISA to the extent that the concerned person is a participant at the subject exhibition and that the person in question has been certified by the participating organisation to be their representative. The Foreign Embassy/ Consulate where the applicant submits the VISA application is expected to follow their usual procedural checks before granting the VISA in question and EEPC INDIA shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for non-issuance of VISA by the concerned authorities. This would mean that the prospective participant will be fully liable for the total charges payable to EEPC INDIA even if they do not obtain the VISA for any reason whatsoever.

    Note: EEPC India is contemplating to submit proposal to the Govt. for their support in the show. In the event of getting Government approval of EEPC India's proposal in this regard, the eligible exhibitors may be refunded a part of the participation charges, based on a revised computation.

    Cancellation of participation

    Please note that no request for cancellation and/ or refund including of advances, if any and/ or adjustment thereof shall be accepted for any reason whatsoever. Once the application form and/ or advance / part payments are accepted by EEPC India the participant remains liable to pay in entirety the amounts due from them on account of the event. In case members are not able to travel due to travel restrictions/advisory by Government of India or Germany then the amount paid will be adjusted toward the participation in the next edition.

    Force Majeure

    If a Force Majeure Event like war, act of God, natural calamities, governmental directives, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, etc. or alike events occurs inasmuch as that the fair authorities/ organizers consider that it is illegal, impossible, inadvisable or impracticable for the physical, onsite and in-person (i.e. ‘live’) elements of the Event to be staged, then in such situation and/ or circumstances the decision of the fair authorities shall be final and binding upon EEPC India and all its co-exhibitors/ participants. In such situation and/ or circumstances, if the fair authorities, organizers or the vendors appointed for providing diverse services related to the Event in question does not refund the monies paid by EEPC India and/ or does not otherwise absolve EEPC India from its contractual obligations then in such case the Co-exhibitors / participants remain liable to pay to EEPC India the contracted participation charge in full and shall not receive any refund from EEPC India of the amounts paid by the co-exhibitors/ participants. Further, if the fair authorities, organizers or the vendors, so appointed for the Event binds or rolls over EEPC India's participation in the future editions of the same Event in question, then automatically the participation of the co-exhibitor/ participant shall also be carried forward to such future editions of the Event and the amounts paid by them shall be given a credit for the successive edition. However, if there is any increment in the participation fees fixed by the fair authorities, organizers or in any other charges, budgets, etc. then such increased amount has to be paid by the co-exhibitor/ participant without any demur based on the space and booth booked by the co-exhibitor/ participant. In any event, a co-exhibitor/ participant cannot decrease the space or the booth size booked by them for the originally scheduled Event.

    Note: Regarding goods taken out of India for exhibition or on consignment basis for export promotion, participants may refer to Circular No. 108/27/2019-GST dated 18.07.2019 of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) which is the statute in the matter.
